Every child sees the school they go as a new and first place where they get to explore a formal environment for the first time in their life. We understand and consider this as a foundation of every child’s social and emotional development. The experience, skills, values, as well as the knowledge that is developed at this stage of a student’s life will have a long lasting impact on the attitude and aptitude of the all the children in their later life.
The MEMS pre-primary curriculum is designed the way that all the above aspects like social, emotional, and especially academic development of every child is taken care of.
All our efforts are focused on the child’s overall development to ensure:
• The children are engaged and enjoying the learning atmosphere where they get involved in drawing, coloring, storytelling, singing, dancing, and performing in group or in individual activities.
• The children are encouraged to use their senses with a gentle directional nudges rather than a stringent syllabus.

• Fun activities to trigger their curiosity, help them know and explore, learn on their own to boost their confidence.
• Students are encouraged to be disciplined and enjoy through a planned day that includes, group time, story time, fun time, tiffin time, and play time.
• Every child learns and appreciates our cultural diversity and heritage through special festival celebrations.
Primary school is the age when a child is so enthusiastic to learn and understand new things in this world. They really need and deserve their curiosity of exploration is nurtured. These young learners develop their study habits and understand the breadth, depth of the content of various subjects and importantly the evaluation and assessment system in their schooling.

• The habit of reading can only be inculcated when the children are young and just discovering their language skills. Reading is a life-long pleasure that also helps a child grow into a knowledgeable and thinking adult. Children are encouraged to read newspapers, storybooks and other books available in the library, followed by focused interactions with the teachers and the librarian that open up the world of books for them.
• Special emphasis is laid on development of skills of observation, experimentation, analysis, inference, and discovery, thereby helping children nurturing the learning spirit.
• The curriculum focuses on developing children’s numerical skills and reasoning ability, leading to development of primary mathematical concepts.
